Kevin McCarey  - Writer/Director
Kevin McCarey’s films have been shown on the National Geographic Channel, PBS, NBC and the Turner Networks.  His work as writer, director and producer has garnered three Emmys, and nine Emmy nominations.  Among his credits are the Peabody Award-winning series Portrait of America  with Hal Holbrook and Trumpet of Conscience, a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.  which aired on TBS every Christmas for twelve years.  His narrative short, San Juan Story, was an Academy Award semi-finalist. He was executive producer on the National Geographic feature documentary Arctic Tale. 


Jim Stone - Consulting Producer
Jim Stone is one of the founders of Tytan Creates, a production company that has compelling storytelling and a passion for the art of cinematography.  Tytan has been honored with hundreds of regional and national awards including four Regional Emmys, a National Gold ADDY for Cinematography, and 88 Telly Awards for their short films, commercials, and documentaries.  Jim produced the critically acclaimed documentary Storm Soldiers in 2013 and is producing and directing Storm Soldiers II which is currently filming in 2015 across the US and Canada.  Jim is also currently producing and in post-production with the feature length documentary Love, Sweat and Tears which stars Joan Rivers, Jenny McCarthy, Craig Shoemaker, Lynne Koplitz, Michael Bernard Beckwith and many others.  Jim and the Tytan crew have also produced short films for Nike, Red Bull Media House, Notre Dame football, and ESPN.

Renee Bishop - Consulting Producer
Renee Bishop has created, written and produced television for over 30 years, including  many of the first episodes of Biography and Civil War Journal. She originated programming for A&E, Lifetime, Discovery Channel and TLC. Her work includes Mother Teresa's last authorized documentary and A&E's Emmy-award winning Titanic, which inspired James Cameron's blockbuster film.  Her six-hour, Revolutionary War series for The Learning Channel was a Cable Ace Winner, and she was nominated for an Emmy for her work on A&E's The Last Days of World War II. She was Executive Producer for three seasons of Farmers’ Almanac TV.  Broadcast nationally on PBS it had viewership in over 90 million homes.


Paul Atkins - Director of Photography
From Antarctica to the tropical Pacific, Paul Atkins has filmed the world's cultures and natural history for National Geographic and the BBC including such acclaimed series as Planet Earth and Trials of Life.  His cinematography has earned Emmys, British Academy Awards and a prestigious Telluride Film Festival tribute.  Paul Atkins work on Master and Commander contributed to a 2004 Academy Award for cinematography.  His visuals in Terrence Malick's Tree of Life contributed to an Oscar nomination for cinematography.  He is currently filming the IMAX epic Voyage in Time. 

Emmanuel Mairesse – Supervising Editor
Emmanuel Mairesse has served as editor on a variety of documentary films for National Geographic, the Discovery Channel, PBS and the Cousteau Society.  In addition to editing ten National Geographic Specials for NBC, his works include Capturing Oswald, Raising the Mammoth, and Rediscovery of the World.  Mairesse has received six Emmy Award nominations, winning three times.

Curtis Bryant - Composer
Classically trained, Curtis Bryant is at home with many styles ranging from symphonic and choral music to jazz, electronic music, folk, rock, swing and gospel. He has composed numerous scores for television and feature films including the Portrait of America series and various PBS specials.  His work has garnered seven Emmy nominations and numerous ASCAP awards.  He was honored with two all-Curtis Bryant concerts at the renowned Spoleto Festival.
